Notes:
The so-called Troodon
bexelli of this formation is actually a pachycephalosaurid (Maryańska et al. 2007) and is probably more
accurately been placed in the genus Stegoceras.
Peishansaurus is a fragmentary jaw
that could remotely belong to a juvenile ankylosaur (Vickaryous et al. 2007). Many of the other dinosaur
remains are dubious at best, including remains assigned to Microceratops (Weishampel et
al. 2007). As a likely oasis before disaster struck, crocodiles, turtles,
and fish were present.
